a 70-mutation screening panel for Cystic Fibrosis carrier,
pre-natal and diagnostic testing
The broad mutation coverage of the Cystic Fibrosis 70 GenotypR™
exceeds the minimum recommendations of the American College of
Medical Genetics and the American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists for general population screening. Because certain
mutations are associated with specific ethnic groups, Specialty's
expanded 70-mutation panel detects additional Black and Hispanic
CF carriers who would not be identified in panels with fewer mutations.
